Over a month to go until Christmas and I have to admit...I'm feeling a little pleased with myself.
Not only are most of my knitted gifts (which are, I believe, much more substantial than previous years' knitted gifts) done, but they match, too!
Now that I have confessed this, I wonder: what exactly is going to happen to wipe this smug look off my face? Because I know something will.

go you! what a gorgeous pile of knits! can you share what you made, or would that be giving too much away? (i need some holiday gift inspiration!)
amazing! They do look beautiful in the pile. I'd go with the idea that karma will reward you and nothing is coming to wipe that look off your face....
and yes, the colors do match!!
That's amazing! I'm very impressed.
Can't wait to to see what everything is. I love the combination of neutrals in different textures at the top of the stack.
well, your free loading cousin could annoy you by asking (begging) you to make her little babies some hats because their big ol heads are cold and there isn't anything cute enough in the stores for her taste... ;)
Can't wait to see what you've made!!
PS. Used the baby Uggs and diaper covers in their "newborn" photo shoot and they looked AMAZING. I'll send you the link when the proofs are up so you can see. I literally squealed with excitement when I saw some of the shots.
That's so awesome!! no sore wrists knitting into the wee hours of December for you!
Oooh knitted gifts from you, I'm sure they are amazing! Who wouldn't want one!
pretty! i can't wait to see what everything is.
I say you have ample reason to sport any and all smug looks. Fear no retributions! Well done - I still have to kick myself into gear for Christmas gifts~
I think you should be smug, and not feel bad about it. I'm very impressed (says the girl who is still making her father's birthday scarf- started in May and due next week...)
Very impressive, indeed! Love how they all look together.
DANG, girl! You have every reason to be smug. I think you win the race this year. ;-)
oh, that is so great.
no go on, buy some yarn and cast on something amazing for yourself!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Go on, enjoy that smug feeling!
"So this can go in the dryer, right?" (while stretching out the neck to pull it over child's head)...that was my own karmic payback a few Christmases back. Not to say that it will happen to you! Maybe you'll just have a great Christmas.
That stack of knits is just beautiful! You should get all the recipients together after Christmas to do an "After" shot of these gifts!
Sure I can share! I'm pretty sure most of the recipients don't have Ravelry accounts, so it should be safe. :) From top to bottom, they are...
1. Republic Hat, but without the brim overlap
2. Odessa Hat
3. Textured Shawl
4. Lace Ribbon Scarf (totally cheated on this one, since it was already mostly knit)
5. Baktus Scarf
6. Friends of the Forest Mittens
7. Ishbel (I made this one awhile ago, too)
8. Porom
9. Spiral Cowl
Wow - I am impressed! I don't think you have to worry about karma, or tempting fate with your pride when you have been this generous:)
Oh my goodness! I'd feel smug, too!
Those look so pretty, all piled up! I love it!
lovely! you really have a good reason to be proud of yourself!
