First of all, I did an interview for Project Ten over at Bitches Get Stitches (a great blog, btw) over the weekend if you want to check it out! Steven is absolutely hilarious and was a ton of fun to work with on this interview. Thank you, Steven, for asking me to be a part of Project Ten!
So...on Thursday night, Imagiknit hosted a book signing with Julie Turjoman and a trunk show of all the projects in Brave New Knits. It was very cool to see all of the knits and be reunited with Koukla, and spending the evening hanging out with knitters was, of course, a great time.
My knitting posse showed up in full force, and I made them all model Koukla...
Sophy looking fab
Debi looking fab
Erica looking fab
We took turns trying on the various projects...
That Orchid Thief shawlette is really pretty
I signed some autographs (!!)...
This is Francesca, a very sweet knitter; most other autographs were for people I already know...
And posed for some photo ops...
With the author herself
With the knitting gals
All of the above, plus the super sweet Imagiknit ladies (and a gorgeous red Cloudy Sunday!)
Special props go to my lovely husband for spending his whole evening in a yarn shop and acting as our photographer on our 4th anniversary. :)
Thank you again, Imagiknit and Julie, for a great evening!
One last thing....MY GIANTS ARE GOING TO THE NLCS!

You were BOTH sweet to spend your anniversary there, and to bring all your pals along. It really was a fun evening!
Well, OF COURSE, you would have a handsome husband, and OF COURSE, he would be unbelievably nice. And OF COURSE, I bought Brave New Knits, and OF COURSE, I really love it.
That was fun, I'm glad I got to try on all the pieces! I'm having trouble deciding what to knit first. And damn, I look good in your Koukla! Gotta start choosing my color, hmm. ;)
ps. giants suck. I don't wanna hear none of it tomorrow! :P

Congratulations, both on the book and your 4th anniversary! This trunk show looks like so much fun. I think your pattern looks *great* on everyone -- very versatile.

Ah! I was just in ImagiKnit few weeks ago while visiting SF. Great to see the shop again and congratulations! I bought the book as well and wish the trunk show would come to so cal too!
what a great sweater!! I would love to make something like that.
And... I have a feeling that your Giants are going to beat my Phillies tonight. It's painful, but I am glad for you. :)
This looks like it was such a fun night. If I could have, I wish I could just zap myself, perhaps in Star Trek style, right on over to the event!
