Even though it's been a couple of weeks now (boy am I behind), I thought I'd pay a little blogpost-tribute to SF Giants Stitch & Pitch 2011, where my knitting gals and I gathered for some ballpark food, chatting, cheering, and knitting, too. After a stupid 5-run 6th inning, the Giants ended up losing, but I honestly hardly noticed. This was one of the very few "nights off" I've had since Daniel was born and it sure felt nice! And it was kind of crazy remembering last year's Stitch & Pitch, when I was about 8 weeks pregnant and felt like I was going to yak the whole time.
Unfortunately, I seem to have taken all my photos while Sophy was in the bathroom, but here are Erica (left) and Brenda, who is pretending to root for the Giants while silently wishing she were at a Phillies game.
Brenda is knitting this AMAZING Russian shawl with laceweight yarn on really small needles.
Erica started a Damson, but sadly ended up having to rip out the night's progress.
I also got to see Helga Marie, whom I know from the interwebs and met for the first time in person last year.
(More on the orange cap I'm sporting later...)
As always, we ate too much, talked through the whole game, and got to take home free stuff. This year's gift was a little Giants project bag (actually, I also took home Erica's by accident...note to self: give stolen goods back to true owner). Fun times.

that looks and sounds like so much fun! Love the baby's 'Giants' themed gear too!!
Sounds like great fun! Looks like you have quite the cute little Giants fan on your hands already.
I'm looking forward to more info about that hat!
ZOMG - You're one of those crazy parents swaddeling their babes in sports attire! Aaaah!
;-)
He's adorable!!! And as I've suspected he's an easy relaxed baby if ever I saw one ~
