Well, hi there! I'm back from the TNNA summer show, the major house drama of the week is dealt with, and I'm working on a much more fun post than this, but there's something I'd like to discuss quickly first...
You guys know that Google Reader is going away, right? *sad face* Back when I first heard, my initial feelings were of shock, denial, and then utter devastation. Alright...that's being a bit dramatic, but I'm picky about how I read my blogs, ok? Anyway, I did end up transferring everything over to Feedly, which I quite like - especially now that I figured out how to get all my unread posts in a list, and also found the "keep unread" button, which took embarrassingly long for someone who worked in the Silicon Valley area for 9 years. If you're a Google Reader user and are still undecided about where you'll go, Shannon has a great little writeup about a couple of the options out there (and you should also strongly consider subscribing to her blog, because it is awesome).
And wherever you decide to go, I hope you'll take The Yarniad with you! Here are a coupla links to help...
If you're with me on Feedly, you can subscribe to The Yarniad by clicking here.
If Bloglovin is your new reader of choice, you can find The Yarniad here.
And, you can also sign up to receive posts from The Yarniad via email by entering your email address into the box under Subscribe in my right-hand sidebar. (I don't even see those email addresses, so you don't have to worry about me sharing them with anyone!)
If you have any questions, please let me know!
The way-more-fun post with actual knitting content & more will be coming soon. But until then, here's a picture of some knitters with ice cream. Happy summer!

That must be the ice cream that everyone raves about in Columbus.
Yeah, I'm none too thrilled about the death of Google Reader -- trying to navigate the other options has been time-consuming and a little annoying! I have high hopes for The Old Reader, though -- it seems pretty basic.
Looking forward to hearing more about TNNA. Mmmm... ice cream and knitting, what can be better?
